Edit: I need a card for £65 or less, than will comfortably eat up WoW and LOTRO at Max Res with everything maxed out, i know its possible as my old 8500gt did it and that was only £45.

Also, wouldn't mind going second hand if anyone has anything going

What sort do you need? Pci Express of AGP?

I would say something along the lines of 19XX or 79XX series second hand? if you can get them for that price.

No chance that your guna play LOTRO online with a £30 card if thats the game you meant anyway. i'll sell you my 8400gs for a tenner :D

I have no idea what it's like but specs are better than my x800.

If somebody can tell you what its like that would help?
 
Your X800 would eat that card up I think.

Keep an eye out for a cheap X1950Pro (second hand). That would be your best bet. I just sold my 2900Pro for £72 so I'd hope you could maybe get the X1950 for about £30 with maybe having to stretch to £40.

yeah, to play them ames i think you deffinatly gonna need yo go second hand for hat price. i have a x1950pro now and that runs wow a treat at 1280x1024 maxed out.
 
If you can wait two weeks i will be putting my HD3850 512MB card for sale. Havent decided on the price yet, was bought on January, still have the reciept and the box in great condition.

Depends on the GS - my 6800GS was a PCIe card bridged to AGP with 512Mb DDR3 and running Ultra Extreme speeds on the core (hit 109C on the core at times) - it would keep up with the 7800GT at anything but 2560x res - it would have eaten any X800 alive.

You sure your GS would rip the X800? :p. I don't think it would at all ;). The 7600GT is better than the 6800Ultra in the games tested.
