So I;ve been out of the game for a while and having played empire total war I dont think my 8800gtx can quite cut the mustard anymore ( well, with EVERYTHING maxed at least)

When are the next batch of cards due and what are they?

What Card would people recommend for an upgrade?
 
got a 600w corsair

Would see a big improvement with a gtx 260?

Or should i wait for this ati 4890?

Not anymore it can't. Well, not if you want a silky smooth 60+ frame rate.

You guys reckon the 4890 will be out on thursday? At what cost?
