New Case Agony

Im having trouble finding a new case thats less than 420mm tall due to the location it will be put in.

It must be stylish and fit into a nice kitchen environment. Can be silver as its next to a silver microwave oven

This is what I’m up against.. by the way I used to have my own room till I got married and had kids?.

Still at least I’ve got the fridge and tinnies near by!

Problem is ive got 'hearing aid beige' ROMs Media drive bays

I fancy a case that hides the bays.

Yeh... i did a search and found a video review. Does look good doesnt it.

It says micro atx motherboards only... is the Gigabyte DS3 a micro motherboard?.

Shame? as it has all the attributes i wanted ...abit like the Lian Li PC-7 which is slightly too high.

Some of the case here have no height sizes. Im going to have to email overclockers tomorrow and ask them which ones are under 420mm High

My current case is running a standard E6400 @ 50 deg (TAT) and 36-40 with the side off and thats just surfing...

It does look great only ive got a microwave behind it and the cupboard above houses the combi boiler!... im also exhausting an 8800 GTS OC :eek:

I think a large front intake fan case is the order of the day. Sorry i didn’t mention the exact situation. Everyone’s been real helpful and ive got some great ideas. I’m going to ring overclockers tomorrow and get some specs.

Yes i did. I also noticed the fact that your case (looks awesome especially with the CPU Cooler) Although that setup would be wasted in my room as all that internal eye candy would be facing a wall.
