New Case and Cooling

In bed, asleep.
I'm currently running an SLi 8800GTX's (stock cooling and speed) and a QX6700 (TR Ultra 120 Extreme) with some generic 120mm fan, all in an Antec 900 with stock fans. I'm getting a little bored of the noise, and having to clean the case so often due to dust. So anyway I'm looking to replace the graphics cooling with Accelero 8800's but there's hardly any clearance between the bottom graphics card and my PSU (an Enermax Galaxy 850, motherboard Asus Striker Extreme). Will I actually be able to fit one of those Accelero's on the bottom card? In addition i'm going to replace the CPU fan with a NF-P12.

Anyway this got me thinking about replacing my Antec 900. It's a bit cramped in there and although I've done what I can with the cable routing the air flow isn't great. Anyway, got me thinking about replacing the case and after looking around I settled on a Lian Li A71B as I've read a lot of good things about the cooling system, and it's massive inside, but after looking at this picture i'm not so sure it solves the problem. Recommendations? Suggestions? All help is appreciated.

yes, they will fit, on both cards. I used to run this setup on my XFX 780i and as long as one card was in the top slot and the other one in the bottom (3rd) slot (which has to be to get the standard sli connector to fit) it should be fine. The bottom cooler didnt overhang the bottom of the mobo so it should matter what case you put the setup in.

basically, the accelero's are only slightly taller than the stock gtx coolers

much better, at 100% they are bearly audible.....and come with all the thermal pads which do a good job. I would've used AS5 but the pads were quite thick and without them the cooler wouldn't make good enough contact.
The fans connect to the stock connector on the card too, a very very good aftermarket solution.

temps dropped by around 15-20 degrees iirc, but I did have the stacker 832 with 4 fans blowing in on them.

They will be massive with the coolers fitted !
