Hi guys,
as part of my ongoing upgrades i am looking for a new case.

i currently use a Thermaltake VB1000BWS Soprano which is ok, but its very tight on space for my needs. mainly between the back of graphics cards and HDD.s etc.

i have a budget of 150£ and so far have decided i like the Zalman GS1000 quite a lot.

can you guys give suggestions of alternatives.

many thanks.

T

if you do decide on the Zalman could you let me know what the air flow is like? as I was also thinking about getting one.

It does look like a very big case looking at the dimensions of it 585(L) x 220(W) x 520(H) mm, and looking at a few pictures the motherboard seems to be lost there's that much room.

Has put me off it a bit now comparing it to the size of my current case, it seems too big.

Can't go wrong with any of the antec cases but they are mainly steel cases so their heavy for if you go to lans etc, you can't go wrong with silverstone or lian li either, full aluminium case but cost more..

Thanks for all the responces.

The build post looks excellent, some really tidy machines.

I think its the Zalman for me, a good looking functional case with ust the right layout for me :-)

Im thinking of the zalman too, did you get it in the end? If so can you let me know if it is quiet and any pros and cons would be good :)

antec 1200? but i dont think this is a silent one?
i am torn between coolermaster cosmos and zalman gs1000, i particularly like the hotswap feature but silence and enough space for hdds is key, any advice welcome.

its a tad blingy for me, I am after something sleek really, sorry may be a techie geek in some areas but i am a girl it has to be slightly pretty too lol
