New case cooling conundrum!

I’m replacing my old Cheiftec BX02 AMD system with a new one based on a 2500k, which I’ll be overclocking. It will have an Antec H20 620, as I fancy a change and it will hopefully be quieter than an air cooler.

I’m looking for a quiet case that looks good and cools well – so no HAF X . I initially looked at a Fractal R3, but after reports of poor build quality and transportation, I checked out the CM 690II Advanced and Lankool k62 – however I think I really fancy a NZXT Phantom.

So, my requirements are that I need to fit the H20 radiator, but also need to add the side 200mm fan as I have an MSI 6950 Frozr III, so need to blow some cool air over it as it exhausts into the case.

The case will be located as in the photo

So, I am worried about not being able to use the radiator on the rear exhaust fan, as the inlet air there will be hot – unless the top fan can blow the hot air away.

I have seen somebody mount a H50 near the front at the bottom of the case, by removing the small drive bays – so that looks to be the best option as I can get cool air in the front and side fans and exhaust at the top and rear.

Does this sound to be a good setup?

Anybody else tried it with a Phantom + side fan and H20 / H50?

Nobody?

So, ignoring the model of case, would a radiator on a rear top fan be of any use in the above location - pulling and exhausting through the roof?
