New case dimensions?

Ok my current case is about 7years old :eek:

I might be picking up a 390 today. And i know my current case wont be able to fit a 390 i barely got my 280 in.
After looking at some of the case they only seem to give you the external dimensions. Should i be worried in terms of internal space for gpus or are all cases pretty much the same?

What case, 280 do you have and what 390 you thinking off ?

Xtx 390 deal on the black friday bit.

When i got my 280 i actually had to void the warranty as i had to saw off the plastic overhang from the cooler

and the 390 is slightly longer.

Cant find a difinative answer for the 390 dd on length some say 11 inch some say 11.61 inch.

from the manufacturers site (XFX model):

Card Dimension (cm) : 29.5 x 14.3 x 4.2
Card Dimension (inch) : 11.61 x 5.63 x 1.65

i know it won't fit into my case but from some of the cases i've seen on the ocuk website they only show external dimensions

the new cases have changed compared my current one with the psu being at the bottom. so my guess would be that it would fit but don't want to order something only to find out it won't
