Hi guys...

I just built a new system yesterday.

using
Motherboard: MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk Wifi DDR4
Case: Lian Li Lancool Mesh 2 Performance
CPU Water Cooler: Artic Liquid Freezer 2 RGB Version (with colour fans)

I have 2 issues,

1 ---- I cant get the the included LianLi 3 off case fans running. They are all linked to a small circuit board in the back of the case. I have plugged the case fan single cable into 2 different motherboard fan jumpers (6 in total) and activated in BIOS. They still not running at all.
I installed MSI Centre and fan control. They still wont run.

2 ---- The Artic Freezer has two leads. One that goes on the CPU Fan Power jumper on the motherboard. The second cable goes to the RGB connector so that the RGB works off the board. The fans seem to be working fine, however there is no light or colour on either of the fans. Again i have tried to actiavte the lights by using MSI Centre Fan & LED RGB control and also messing about in BIOS. Still no light...

Maybe im just missing something. Its been 10 years since i built a new PC. Everthing else is working well and im just dying to game on it :)

Any ideas please on the above issues?

Cheers

That fan hub board propably needs power from PSU.
You just can't connect six fans into single mobo header, unless those are really low power fans.
Hence it should have power feed from PSU, unless it's badly designed.

Thanks..
your totally correct...thats what i was thining also. But there is no power connector on it.... (Lian Li are meant to be the experts)
15mins back I disconnected a single fan from it and plugged it into board connector. Its working....so i will do that with the rest of the case fans.

Just need to get my colour lights working now..

Have you connected the sata power from the fan control switch on the case? (also the PWM for the motherboard)

You then connect the fan hub to the switch to power the fans.

Not used RGB fans so can't help with them.

No I had not. I wasnt sure what that was for...but now I see it just plugs into PSU rail. :o

Thank you...appreciated!
