New Case for New machine

Hi Guys,

I sold my old PC to finance my new I7 gaming system.
The first thing I want is a Case.
I want to be open to both Water and Air cooling as I havn't decided yet.
I preffer Full towers with a lot of space.
I currently have a Thermaltake Armour which i don't want to reuse.
I want a Side Panel so I can show off my new system.
Price does not matter and I will check out every case :)
So far I have only propley looked at Lian LI

and here is my selection so far

Might even consider the other Lian LI where you can buy the extra sidepanel

I will give it a propler look tonight and i know i didn't really give a small selection above. I also want to hear opinions on the above cases, or maybe even consider another case to look into.

Well, most case come with side panel... :p

Actually as default V2x10 comes with solid side panel so if they come with side windows that's already modded version.
Considering water cooling you would have to cut holes yourself, either to side panels in case of radiator in bottom or then to top.
Also if you actually want to use 5.25" bays you can't use them all because that would block motherboard chamber's intake airflow... naturally being very bad thing considering most of heat production is there.

Very affordably priced A70/71 has windowed side panels available.
Also there are premodded top panels for dual and triple radiator for them.
Stacker/full 5.25" style A77 takes same side panels but there aren't ready top panels for it.
 
Ill have a look into the PC-60FW and A70/71

I just want the RAD to be inside the case, and as you can buy it already for use, this seems a good option :).

For a midicase, is it big enough for all the water cooling to be inside the case?

How about the HAF, could you have the a big RAD inside the case.

I am pretty noobish to the whole watercooling thing, as I am an air veteran :) my latest being a TRUE ;)

Can you lot please post up some pics of your Air and water cooled systems if you have the above cases? Can you also let me know if you have a windowed sidepanel and how you set up your Air/Water cooled system?

you can in the USA but i doubt it over here, you dont really need extra fans anyway..
but i'm interested in modding the side panel, i'll get an extra panel drawn up on Autocad and send the disc off to laser profile cutters

but if you want fans in the roof, that is also dead easy to do via laser cutting

A70 and A71 have both meshed/windowed side panels and dual/triple rad top panels.

T-70/703 for A70 and T-71/713 for A71. (postfix A means silver and B black)

Those are from early revisions, already year ago HDD cage structure was more open for airflow. (and case take BS-03/06 PCI cooling kits)


A77 takes same side panels but not top panels and neither it has own.
V2x10-models have neither.

Windowed side panels and top panels are available in continental Europe.
(side panels around 50€, cooling kits/top 20-30€)

i know its not quiet the case ya looking for but there`s not much in it between versions they all have the same layout ..

I recently moved hard drives around, took stuff out etc so the cable management on the drives isn't how i want it atm. Also need to cut a couple of holes before i do it properly. It's looking a bit empty at the moment with the lack of a big graphics card. Loads of space though. Check out the rest of the photobucket album for some older photos with my GTX in there.

Love the case BTW, so much room and flexibility. I want to get the internals powder coated, though that's going to have to wait a while as I'm getting a Lian Li A05 to take with me to uni as i don't fancy lugging this beast to and from uni.
 
I think RoEy's rig actully made me wane go WC =] Limit on spending £3000 :P

I can't decided on colour scheme yet,

Black and White?
Black and Orange?
Black and Red?
Black and Green?

ARGH hahahah
