Garr, i'm really regretting giving my old case to my g/f's new build:( Was a coolermaster wavmaster and more expensive than i remember..
Ah well:rolleyes: So anyway, need a case spec'ing for my new build
Q6600
4gig ram
just 1 8800ultra (or new one out this week)
850Watt power supply
2 HDDS
1 mayby 2 optical drives

well anyway, the details arn't that important behond the gfx card i guess.

Been looking at the antec 900 gamers case, seems a popular choice with ocuk's ready builds, looks nice ect... But can i do better for the money or would you guys say my old coolermaster case would still be a good purchace?
Yeh i do want something that'll look nice, but it's not top priorety. Would also be nice if it was fairly quiet and didn't suck up all the dust from 10 miles around!!

Throw your sugestions at me guys:)

Not sure if it's just the pic on the ocuk site, but it looks a tad ugily! I know it's not the most important thing but still...
About right for the Akasa. You either love it, hate it, mod it or hide it under the desk. ;) I actually never minded how it looked as it's a great case!!! :D

Alternatively you could look at Lian Li:

I used a PC-101B for a while. Identical interior to the V1000. Both very pretty cases.

Had a q6600 (under an Ultra 120 Extreme), 4gb OCZ, 8800GTX, 850watt toughpower PSU, 1 optical drive and 3 HDD's.

Good cooling, immaculate build quality and great layout.

Don't have any pics of it with the ultra 120 extreme or toughpower fitted but thesi128 and tagan were very similar sizes TBH:

Out of interest, what you think of the coolermaster wavemaster? I've looked around but tbh i love this case! Ok the fans are a tad small and they dont have filters which is a bummer:( But do you think i'll get 2 HDDs and an 8800ultra in? I suppose at a push i could go with the P182..

Wavemaster is based on a case design that was with us turn of the milenium, by far one of the best looking cases around and very high quality compared to most, just a bit dated and its very crampt by todays standards which can lead to problems with high end gear.

Best avoided these days as you can get far easier cases to work with for the same money.

The 900 is a good case although can be an aquired taste, they are not as dusty as some people say depending on the environment they are in, although there are much better around for that.

My vote would go to an Eclipse or PC-7 Plus case.

One of the new coolermasters appearing in the near future may also be right up your street. ;)

Hmm something to ponder. Just been looking at some of the eclips cases people have done on here, nice:) I suppose i could have the face towards the wall and just have the nice bit on display.... yeh i'm still talking about the case ok!!

Antec p182 special edition the one with the black interior or lian li pc7+III or akasa eclipse/mirage.
