hi guys

first off sorry if this is a re-occuring thread, but was looking for a stickied thread but nothing to answer my question,

basically want a new case, budget roughly £100 or below, for my ATX board, id like to eventually go usb 3.0

being looking at the cooler master range, espec (CM-690 II Lite Dominator)

what id like to know.. is there anything i need to look out for/stay away from?

also how do i know my board will mount into the new case? (besides buying a case that fits my board)

any info will be helpful, thanks.

All cases will state what form factor motherboard they take.

As for choice it depends what kind of cooling you want, or want in the future. The CM 690 is a good choice IMO, one of the better cases in its price range :)

cable management is tight at the back. I would pick up the CM 690 II Lite over the Advanced since it's practically the same case.

The 500R is very well designed. The Fractal R3 is quiet.

The Bitfenix Shinobi is very popular and versatile, good for modding.

cheers for the replies guys, my main concern is buying a case and my board not fitted, but if i buy a ATX case should be fine surely?

Correct, if you check a case description it will state what form factor motherboards fit, the vast majority of mid tower cases (what I presume you're looking at) will take ATX & mATX, while the larger 'full tower' cases will take ATX/mATX/E-ATX/XL-ATX.

If you're really unsure just ask about in here, I'm sure someone will come along to help :)
