Hi All,

In advance of the pascal cards which are to be shortly released, I'm going to re-build the majority of my system while keeping my 960gb SSD, GTX970, and possibly PSU.

The PSU is a Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CMPSU-750TXV2UK) which I bough in September 2011. It seems to work absolutely fine and so not sure if I should bother changing it out for something more modern?

So I guess what I really need advice on it whats the best motherboard, cpu (and cooler), ram combination out there right now. Happy to spend around the £1000 mark if recommended? Also a new case to replace the Cosair Obsidian 650D would be nice.

Thanks,

for info my current build is something like:

i7 2700k @ 4.4/4.6
Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower - Black
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W V2 High Performance '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CMPSU-750TXV2UK)
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9)
