I have bought the Lancool K62 with a window.

How do I transfer my kit from my current Coolermaster 335 to this beast?

Should I start with certain components?

Do I wire as I go along?

Thanks

Unplug/remove everything in your old case. You can leave the CPU and RAM in the board if you like. Build in the new case, start with the motherboard. I usually wire stuff at the end but you could connect some things 'as you go' if you like.

Ground yourself to get rid of static and make sure the motherboard stand offs in the new case are in the correct positions.

Fantastic choice of case :)

Yup, the build post would be helpful. You'll be able to keep the RAM, CPU, and heatsink all on the mobo though, so don't need to worry about faffing around with that.

The 8 pin goes across the motherboard, under the end of the GFX and around the heatsink. Is this OK. The graphics card is plugged in and so is the 24 pin. I have plugged in the optical drive and HDD using the flat metal clip connectors. I still have a four pin connector coming out of my PSU. Where does this go?

Thanks again.

Thanks. Where do the wires from the front of the case go? How do I plug all the fans into my fan controller? Sorry if this sounds a little silly. My fan controller is a Lian Li PT-FN04 5.25" Bay Fan Controller - Black.

Thanks again.

do you have your motherboard insatllation manual?

it will be in there including a diagram, if you dont have your manual anymore, then what is the make and model?

not really got a clue about your fan controller, but,

does it take power from your psu....4pin molex connector?....then....connect your case fans into it?

Thanks. Found everything in the manual for wiring. Booted up fine. However my wireless internet card doesn't work. Why?

Also a few ideas about tidying up the wiring would be useful. How do I post a picture on the forums?

Thanks again.
