New case or new fans?

i have a antec 300 with a sharkoon silent eagle as the intake and the exsaust and the stock 140mm roof fan. my cooler is the nh-d14 and i would like to continue in using the roof as the main exsaust.
my plan is to move the nf-p14 to the roof and put the nf-p12 to the rear and put two Nexus 120mm Real Silent Basic Cooling fans on the nh-14 and put the 2 silent eagle in as the intakes.

I would like a new case as the cable management is poor on the antec 300 but i what would be cost affective? old case + a couple of new fans = 20 or so quid or a new case + a few fans = 100 + quid.

as to fans i know the apache is highly recomended but cannot find any comparison charts thus im considering 2 x nexus or 2x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850 RPM to replace the fans on the nd-d14,

Any advice would be much appreciated

Keep with the 300, if you can figure a way to manage the cables effectively (hint, it involves cable ties and sellotape) it's a really nice case

It's worth keeping the nh-14 as it is, and you've got the right idea with having the p12 as an exhaust, though the Scythe Silent Eagle 2000 is well worth looking into as the intakes, with a Sharkoon as a top exhaust.

If you're bothered about having a quiet case, you'll need a fan controller as the fans I recommended are pretty high performance, The Nesteq is a good controller, 8 fans is far too many, but without waiting for the Akasa controller it's the cheapest one that covers your needs (and you can always spray it black to fit with the 300's colour scheme.
