Hi,
I am in the process of trying to repair a friends PC, it's an old Medion PC with an AMD Athlon XP Proccessor. The problem with it was that the power kept turning itself off not long after booting up, I thought it was a problem with the PSU and the case causing overheating as it was very dusty inside and the case was a poor design as it had no ventilation or case fans.
I have recently got a new case with PSU for it. The new case is bigger & has a lot more room and 3 case fans. I have completly stripped everything out of the old case and put it in the new case
My first problem is that the new case's power led covers 3 pins rather 2 in the old case which means the 2 pin power switch which goes next to it cannot go on
Is there anyway of converting a 3 pin power led connector to a 2 pin? so I can connect the power switch next to it?
