New Case + PSU

Hi,

The other day my brothers PC made a pop noise, turned off and will no longer power up, so I reckon it must be the PSU.
Just wondering if this case and PSU are a good choice for a replacement:

PSU:

Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV (CA-005-HP)

Case:

Antec P180 Advanced Super Midi Tower Case - No PSU (Silver) (CA-039-AN)

Hiper have apparently dropped the ball in recent months, look at Enermax, Seasonic, Tagan, FSP.

As for the case, it's great at it's job but it's looks raise questions. It resembles a fridge! I was originally gonna get it but have totally gone off it now. Cases are down to personal preference really.

Biggest design flaw is the closeness of the PSU to the cooling fan.
Go for the Black P180, the silver one looks horrible. Build is a bit sub-par (door) Make sure PSU cables are long enough.

Fact: Hiper Type-R PSU's cable is too short for P180.

So you'll have to look for a different PSU if you want the P180. Vice versa.

The FSP Epsilon cables are long enough for the P180.

Ok, so if I weren't to get that particular case, which one would you suggest (in the same price range).

Some will say the Akasa Eclipse, Maybe even a Lian-Li PC-7+ (this is what i've decided on).

Lian Li PC-7 and an FSP SPU.
