hi lads,

right, the back end of my new case where my mobo slots into is different from my 'foxconn' mobo, if that makes sense? how do i get around that?

ok ok guys, i THINK i get it now, i just have to remove the new cases backplate, & take the backplate from my exsisting sys & put it into the new case...............? im still not sure how id do that tho, is it held in place with screws? or is it a 'snapfix'?

Backplate's pop out when you push them gently from inside.
Their clipped into place when pushed in from the outside of a case, no screws etc on modern cases.
What you said is fine.
Remove the backplate off your old case and your new one.
Put on the backplate from your old case onto the new case and your done :)

I'm pretty sure its the other way round mate - ie. Push from the outside in to pop it out, push from inside out to clip it in place... Thats how it is on my PC-7 anyhow...

You do realise I'm on about the which side of the case itself when clipping it in/out?...
I fail to see how pushing this from the outside will make it come out ;)

Remove the mobo first ;).

And looking at that one, it too is a push from outside to remove.

I've never known a case to have it fitted from the outside.

I'm kinda giggling at the moment on how the hell I managed to think it was the other way today, even after sticking up a picture ;/
No sleep for more than a day = bad as shown in my above posts!
*awaits people pointing/laughing* :D
