OcUK have introduced a new range on cases. LanCool.

Lancool K1 Midi Tower Case - Black (No PSU)

CA-001-LN_400.jpg

The K1 features include an all aluminum chassis exterior, giving the case the traditional hair-line brushed finish with black anodizing, while the internals have finely honed edges to keep up high safety standards. The case is designed for the power user, so they are wide and rigid, using the minimalist style where every aspect is well thought out and has a specific purpose. There are no frills, but lots of thrills, especially if you are a modder. The outer shell; all in aluminum, is easily cut and modified, while the internal core; made of steel is 40% stronger than an all-aluminum case. The added rigidity makes these cases ideal for carting around to LAN’s to show off your kit.

Looks like a very nice case with that luxury lian li look , but it doesn't look like it would hold a big graphics card or watercooling.

Done a little sleuthing and everything seems to point to lancool and lian li being partner companies. For example, on the main page of the lancool site, it even says "Lian-Li 2009 catalogue is here". Both are based in Taiwan and feature fairly similar websites (especially the individual case popups, they have the same "flash" and "html" icons), similar case designs, and the Lian Li site links to the Lancool site. I doubt the site would link to a competitor.

They are almost definitely in collaboration.

Anyway, nice cases, except the champagne one. Urgh.

Super! At last cheapish good quality cases that a somewhat classy.

As nice as the antec 300 is I was getting sick of soley recomeding it.

If it's ok to post in here as well,

I haven't looked into them a lot yet but:
1. Are the differences between the 4 purely cosmetic or is there more to it?
2. Will you be stocking the side window for the range?
3. How about the Dragonlord range?

From my post in the other thread:

The K1 and K6 look to be based on the PC7F and PC60F so they are slightly cheaper. The K7 is very similar to the B25 internally but is less than half the price so that's a bargain!

The main difference is that they use a hybrid design so have a steel interior.

I like the look of the K6... new cool yet quiet case is on my shopping list and that could very well be the one I want. Outer design is what I want too, sleek, invisible, no leds or windows.
Read a review, said that the only pain is that the optical drives etc are on show once you put them in but the same is the case with my CMelite 335.
