New case suggestions

Hi all,

I'm looking into a new case, which Ideally has room for 4 x 240mm rads.
Does anyone have any suggestions of something with this capacity?

obsidian 900D

- Five radiator mounting points:
- Front: up to 360mm
- Top: up to 480mm (4 x 120) or 420mm (3 x 140)
- Bottom side one: up to 480mm (4 x 120) or 420mm (3 x 140)
- Bottom side two (with PSU installed): up to 280mm (2 x 140) or 240mm (2 x 120)
- Rear: 140mm or 120mm
- Up to fifteen total fan mount locations

Yes this isnt a "cheap" case. I got myself one 1/3 off on bgrade with a bit of minor damage as i was reluctant to spend £300 on a case. But after getting it and having it for 6+ months it totaly worth the price.

its a futureproof case can easily support full MB/RAM/SLI/Xfire. multi loop setups etc.

It's a monster

dunno how I'd feel about something that huge on my desk, a definite maybe though.

I suppose I could swap 2 X 240 for a 480 or something, but Ideally like to reduce the replacing of watercooling parts.

Caselabs Mercury S5 is nice, was pleased with mine - the modular system of what mounts where I'm a big fan of; however only supports MATX / ITX boards.

Enthoo Primo is looking nice,
If I sold my 240's and got a 480 for the top.
Anyone with experience of this case?

The Primo is an excellent case, though size-wise on a par with the 900D. There is a pretty active thread in the Case section of this forum dedicated to that case.

but the aesthetic is nicer than the 900D imo

Phanteks do smaller cases like the evolv atx, but I don't think they'll fit 4 x 240 rads.

I can't speak for the others, but the 900D is a cracking case. It's not cheap, but build quality is top notch with stacks of rad options. I have 2 480 rads and 1 240 rad in there

The Parvum watercooling cases are smart if you want to push your budget. Can't go wrong with the Primo though.

I do like the parvum cases,
they did some of the panelwork on my current case, but I think the Primo might be the winner here

Just looked at your build thread, looks superb. Of course black and yellow is the best combo

(I've used same scheme)

aaahhh yes,
It's a bit sad isn't it,

well I will finish it, then get myself a primo

It was just a bit ambitious really, I ran out of steam.
If you'd like a potato photo of a sneaky peak here's one.

coldzero have an awesome selection of case mods for the 900D - obviously this will add to the expence but these mods make the case look awesome. u can easily fit your 4 x240 radiators. 1 Top 1 Front and then 2 bottom
