Hi im looking for a new case to replace my coolermaster cm690 - 480x520x220

i want it to be

- quiet as possible

- reasonabily small

- look nice

i really like the look of the Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower but it's a bit bigger than id hoped

i also like the look of the Fractal Design Define R3 Midi (black or white), but again its abit bigger than i hoped - it does have noise dampening material in which i like the sound of also.

does anyone have any opinions or other cases that would be better.

its gotta fit , p8p67 pro, 1 x hd, 1x ssd, vengeance ram, standard size psu, 1 x dvd drive, artic cooler freezing pro 7, and 2 x gtx 260's but i dont mind if they get squashed as il be swapping them out when the new graphics cards come along

thanks in advance

What problems do you have with your CM690? It in itself is often highly recommended, so knowing what issues you have with that would help...

well i got it in about 2007 so its done well since then, but iv got a bit frustrated over the years n the little plastic bits that hold the graphics cards etc have snapped off...

...and im moving out of my bedroom into a house with my girlfriend so i want something thats going to look nicer seens the computer will be in the living room or something

its also loud, however i realise this is mostly down to the fact its got crappy 80mm bust LED fans in from years ago, but instead of swapping them out i figure its a good time to go with a hole new case.

im liking aretenon's suggestion of Lian Li PC-6B 210x475x498 £93

Lian Li PC-Z60 Diamond Series Midi Tower £200

i also like that one, ^^ trying to figure out the £100 price difference

and the Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower

think that one looks awsome but is abit big...

tbh i think im just trying to narrow it down now

In that case, I'd definitely say you're looking at a Lian Li case, probably mid-tower. See what you can get for your budget :)

If you have issues with the fan volume in future, invest in a fan controller :)
