Hi,

Right, after posting a few questions regarding cpu's / psu's recently.

It now comes into the final hurdle of the case.

I am looking at running 2 seperate loops to cool and I7 / Nb,Sb and a second loop for 2 x 5870's.

Both loops running off identical LAing DDC1+ Ultra 18W with res attached + rads (thinking identical 360, although maybe smaller for gpu).

Anyway, I am in need of a case to fit, either new (circa £200) or second hand (can customise). Looking for ally case due to weight, have looked at 800D. can anyone advise on the easy release sides / hdd racks. I LAN a lot and obviously dont want anyone to have easy access to the inside of my case :(.

Any input really appreciated on this one.

Cheers,

Chef

Lian li V series might be worth a look, they're not light but they're wheeled, the other case I'd recommend is the Antec 900 (it's small but should fit it all in).

For portability you could get it custom built by a metal fabricator (shouldn't be £200) or build your own.

a 900 for 2 WC loops? really?
Not sure of Corsair, its new
The TJ07 is regarded as THE case for WC
The Lian Li A71 would prob also work but my vote goes to the TJ07

800D is good for water cooling as you can fit a tripple rad ontop with plenty of space to work with on the mobo. Also, can put the pump at the very bottem next to psu and run the pipes through the holes. Very easy to open the case, push the button then pull easy as. Down side is, its quite heavy and huge.

Wait that's a downside to the case hell no :-)
I have a TJ07 already that I'm getting rid of for a 800D in the next couple of weeks.

But yes the TJ07 is a excellent case for water cooling and I still love my one I just want to start a new build project again hence I'm going for a 800D this time round.

In a TJ07 you can fit a quad rad and a double rad in the bottom compartment and another double rad in the roof ( stealth rad )
I have a Feser Quad rad below and a swiftech 240 rad and coolermaster 1000w psu yes it's very sqeeze to get it all in but it works just fine.
