New Case

Looking for a new case for a new build. Components so far to go in it are

i5 2500k
Gigabyte P67 UD4
Corsair H50
6870 (Another in crossfire in the future)
SSD and a couple of HD's
DVD Drive

So far I like the looks of the Coolermaster Silencio 550 as it seems a steal at the price. Anything else I should consider

Like it to be plan and simple not looking like a retarded transformer

Fractal R3=Corsair 550D > Coolermaster 550.

Basically if you're going to get the Coolermaster, get the Fractal or Corsair in stead. They're better cases.

The corsair is twice the price

Fractal looks nice though.

I recently purchased the fractal R3, great case, plenty of space to build in, good cable management, fantastic build quality with rolled edges etc so no sharp bits. Very very quiet, room for long graphics cards.

The only downside I have found so far is the weight. All the sound deadening material makes it heavy, but if you dont move it round much then that wont be too much of an issue.

Yeah, the corsair is a bit pricey, personally I'd buy the R3. It's the better looker IMO anyway...

As for weight, any kind of case with sound deadening is going to be quite heavy unfortunately.

R3 or 550D. i think the corsair looks much betterl but its personal preferacne
