New Case

Hey guys, I've been looking at getting a new case for the last few weeks. I have a Cooler Master Scout and find it to be quite inadequate for cable management and cooling. Getting fans into the top of the case is a massive hassle and just about anything else on the market seems to be better. There are no exhausts on my case and that doesn't really do anything good for anything inside

I was looking at the NZXT cases but they seem really plastic and don't seem too "tickle my fancy".

I was looking at the Corsair 200/300/400R for a while and they seem to be quite good, but then I found about the Fractal R4.

So, I was wondering what's the best case for about £80 (since that's what an R4 costs). I only have 2 drives in my case, an SSD and a HDD. I am also using a Corsair H50 so I would need room in the back of the case for that.

I believe that the R4 is the best thing for the job, though I would like to know what people's experience are with that case or cases around that price point.

Is the R4 a good move or should I be looking around some more?

might sound strange you considered a bitfenix shinobi, it wont break the bank and has good airflow. I just picked up the non windowed version and i think its fantastic. Cant stop stroking it love the soft touch feel they use.
 
I bought the antec 1100 the other day and am very pleased with it...lots of room and good airflow....I had the hafx 932 before and is a nicer looking case than that
 
I don't like the look of either of those cases as they don't really seem to have the features I am looking for
I'm not going to be using all of the HDD cages so there's no point (in my opinion) in getting something where I can't remove the cage(s)
That, and after having an Antec 300 for about a year I swore I would never buy another Antec case because I believe them to just be really bad unless you go for the full tower top-end cases

in the antec you wont have to remove them....there are none in it....you just put in what you want...its a clever set up you just put arms on the hard drives and slide them in retaining slots in the case..job done..the 1100 is a super midi case and is large...nearly as big as the haf x and that is big...its my first antec and i will definately use the again...quality case...but its up to you matey ;)

mind you I got it on Monday when it was this week only offer at £75....well worth it
 
Oooh, the Arc Midi R2 looks good - I'll wait until I get home today to look into it :)
And by the HDD cages, I didn't mean the side in trays - I meant the part you slide them into which you can remove on the R4 and Acr Midi R2

As far as overclocking, I don't touch voltages as I'm too scared
And for crossfire/SLI - I'm only running an ASUS 7850 at the moment, I would like to install a second one and I don't think that would be an issue in a case like that personally, but I don't know
Maybe 2 cards is too much
