New Cheap run about... Not to everyone's taste...

Well, some of you may remember my last Motors thread a few weeks back, the wife and I bought a 2008 SLK as a Fun car...

Well, having a Fun car means you also need a cheap practical motor too, so here is the new run about...

It's a 2005 Kia Cerato 1.6 LX with 43000 on the clock, 2 x previous owners, one of whom decided to body kit and lower it :)

Just got to get seat covers on and fit my own radio and subs....

LOL, if only it was... 0-62 is 11 sec..... not terrible, but far from sporty... the big exhaust has a nice note though...

why on earth would you lower and kit up a KIA, was the previous owner from Chatham by chance

Actually, after driving it, it's comfy and smooth, quiet, bar the big bean tin... and ticked all the boxes for our needs.

4 doors
Lower tax
Lower ins group
Reasonable MPG
Plenty of boot space

I think that looks ok actually. Less than £2k for a low mileage 2005 car... sounds ok to me even if it doesn't offer the most inspiring drive and surroundings.
