I fancy making the jump to a mechanical keyboard and wondered if anyone could offer any suggestions/recommendatios. I really like the compact 10-keyless form factor so want to stick with that. The keys and layout need to be standard sze and spacing though. I hate it when they mess around with that to try and shrink keyboards!

Thinking about possibly going for something like the Razer model below :-

Any alternatives to consider for similar money?

Do you have stock of these? They seem tricky to find in the UK? In fact 10keyless keyboards in general seem to be quite limited!

Are there any actual differences between Kailh and Cherry switches or is just a case of them being made by a different company?

I;ve also spotted one made by Corsair that looks OK too.

Which would you pick between the two?

Decided to order a cherry keyboard sampler to try out the different mechanical switches. Seems a bit foolish ordering one without actually knowing how the keys will feel especially given the price of mechanical keyboards!

I'm not sure if the blue/green switches in the razer are the best fit so will be interesting to see how hey compare to a red/brown/black switch
