New Components - Compatible

I recently purchesed a build for my brother.

The motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA780G-UD3H AMD 780G (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

The graphics card is Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4730 512MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I thought that they were compatible but when ever i plug the connecter into the graphics card slot it does not turn on, the computer works fine with the onboard graphics its just the graphcs card, If they are compatible anyone have a solution other than the BIOS setup cause i already tried that

Hello and welcome to the forums

Check that you have both power connectors connected to the card, disable on board gpu through the BIOS.

Ok, and also i did go into the BIOS and looked to see if the graphics was set to read PCI and it was

Hello again, but that didnt work, infact it made things worse, going into the BIOS disabing the onboard has just completely stopped all gragpics working nothing is showing up at all, and the machine is beeping 3 or 5 times really fast
