The first spec without an O/S has the benefit of being able to add another 6950 GPU later on in life for a crossfire setup, the second spec is just a single GPU setup(the motherboard/PSU reflect this)

this is the closest i can get to £700 with an i5 2500k and a revision 1 2gb 6950

stulid, will the PSU have a powerful enough 12V rail? im pretty sure it will be ok, but i just want to check. i cant find the cards watt/amp requirements anywhere

*edit*
this should help
PSU ratings: http://www.pcserwis.pl/aukcje/PurePower_530W-2.jpg
PSU leads: http://www.pcserwis.pl/aukcje/Be-quiet-3.gif

*edit 2*
motherboard change to save £5, PSU confirmed to be OK

Im in the fancy BIOS camp.

really? seeing that i'd only be in the bios when i want to get an overclock working, and when im installing windows for the first time, i dont think i could justify any money for a fancy bios.

or is this just me not knowing how much useful stuff there is in the bios?
