I now have a budget of £1100-1200 and it would be very help if anyone could revise this build to match current hardware.
The main use for the computing is gaming, but should also be able to handle light video editing and photoshop work.

Many thanks in advance! :D

Sorry, I literally copied the build out of an old post so I am not sure :). Probably no reason!

Which one would it be worth upgrading too?

Many thanks for the replies, these are great help.

@mickyflinn Not particularly I don't think.

@RJC Any reason why you downgraded the RAM? I mean, I don't know much but surely you need more for heavy duty stuff like video rendering etc.?

ok, brilliant, thanks guys. :D

@mickyflinn that latest build you posted comes to £1,065.88 meaning I still have around £140 if needed. Do you think there is anything essential to add (not interested in sound card, OS etc.)?

if you have a good set of speakers then a sound card would be a good choice. Im not a fan of that case but its your personal choice.

Do you need storage drive ?

yeh a nicely sized HDD would be good. Case-wise, I only chose it because I have that on my previous computer and seems to provide easy-access. Please recommend another if you want, although I don't really want to spend more that £80 on a case.

cheers :D

Here are a few to choose from but the Corsair 500R is fantastic case and has a fan controller. Also A hard drive.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Carbide 500R Midi Tower Case - Black £99.95
1 x NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast Midi Tower Case - Gun Metal £84.95
1 x Corsair Carbide 400R Midi Tower Case - Black £84.95
1 x CM Storm Scout II Midi Tower Gaming Case - Black £82.99
1 x Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (WD20EZRX) HDD £76.99
Total : £462.89 (includes shipping : £27.55).
