Not sure if this is the right way of doing this to be honest, but i know how to build a PC, set it up, and find set parts, but ive never had to find parts on my own
(always had the shop keeper find the mainboard, PSU, and he never had my ram so that too..)

so um, im here requesting help to buy a new PC for my fiance, she wants a pc about the same Specs as mine, which is a basic,
CPU: E6850 3ghz (stock no OC'ing) MB: Striker extreme PSU: 600W memory: 4GB, GPU: currently a 9600GT 512MB, getting a ATI 4890 1GB when she upgrades, so i can play on 1900x1200 res, as im gettin a new monitor, shes having my 9600GT so thats not a issue.

so far i've come up with this...

CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
MB: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L iP45 Socket 775 (which sadly i cant find on OCuk)
memory: (2x2GB) OCZ Blade 4GB (2x2GB)
Case: CIT 1003 Gaming Case no clue but she wants this one :s
PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V 610W

she doesnt need a optical drive, or a HDD,and GPU (as said, shes having my 9600GT)

anyone think this is a ok build? or if someone can recomend one about the same specs, (have looked into the AMD's being cheaper, but cant remember why i went from a amd back to intell :S)

sorry if this was in the wrong section, or if i did this wrong :S

Firstly welcome to the OcUK forums :)
Secondly just a note not to post up details of competitors, thats a no no.
Thirdly thats not a bad spex tbh.

thanks for the input ^^, totaly removed the bit of another site, sorry about that, was just looking into Asus P5Q Intel P45 from Oc, i read so many good reviews from people about it, i wanted to try get the whole rig from here to be honest,

someone said the gigabyte had better cooling though (the heat pipes) :S
