New Computer Build

Hi guys. Been saving a little cash to upgrade my computer and I'm basically looking for any advice on the build. I've got roughly £350 to spend and I'm aiming to get an i5 processor.

I need RAM, PSU (with cooler) and a motherboard. I've got an EVGA 9800gtx+ which I'm going to keep.

as a CPU, would you recommend anything better?

Ok I will. Will that PSU be powerful enough for that build do you think?

Wow thanks very much, seems better than the one I had already. I didn't realise the power supply would be fine, I've been looking at 700w minimum over the past few days. Fingers crossed the prices of the 1155 CPUs are low enough though.

yeah, i'm looking for a solid upgrade from my current Q6600 with 4GB of DDR2. On a good old aBit IP35. Just bought a new case for the build and I've just been looking through trying to figure out what's best. Don't feel I'll be getting a better gfx card any time soon with this upgrade.

well, after speaking about the sandy bridge stuff i've changed my mind and i'm going to wait until february starts. i'll get paid and hopefully i could afford a little bit more. That card is pretty good btw. I guess i could always buy again in march for that.
