I'm looking to build a new computer (putting it together and oc'ing it myself is not and issue) my budget will be about 1500/1600.

The games I play are Call of duty MW and World of Warcraft ( I also raid in wow which can be gfx intensive) i have set aside £300 or so more for a 1440p monitor so the system must be able to play these games at descent frame rates.

Im thinking of AMD ryzen, as im going to OC at some point beefed up cooling is a must.

My main rig in my sig will be going to my partners home so not many spares i can salvage from there, any help would be appreciated :)

can anyone tel me what the basket chrome extension is please

Thanks Grimley i did expect more people to jump on the thread a lot of the gaming comparisons ive looked at online for 3600x and 3700x show the 3600x at the same level, I dont do encoding etc so this will be only for gaming kind of settled on this build

with potentially just changing it to the 3600x saving 40 quid any thoughts?

You could save another 30 if you got the 3600non x and only lose like 2 fps if you shop around on a 3600 you could save over £70 as theres some deals going on atm.

Nice i like the 4x8 i think 32gb is good for the foreseeable future 1 have 16gb in my current rig and have no issues the 32gb was fore more future proofing :)

After looking at the amount of ram i think 16gb is enough for this 2080ti that wasnt as bad as the others
