I recently built a new computer and unfortuately have been getting BSODs and freezes (and the audio goes nuts). Looking at Event Viewer I have a series of Critial Errors due to 'Kernel-Power' (event 41). At first I thought it might be due to an automatic overclock I applied in Ryzen Master or some outdated drivers, but have disabled that and updated everything but unfortuately still occuring.
Today after my PC froze it wouldnt even post or boot, and noticed a yellow led on my motherboard which indicates a DRAM problem. Which sounds fesible but not sure if it is dodgy memory or due to the way it is installed. I have a NZXT Kraken Z73 cooler and due to the sizing the water pipes push into the first RAM stick such that they are constantly touching and putting it at a slight angle. So maybe its causing it to overheat, create interferrence or make a lose connection? Due to the LCD screen on the pump it cant be rotated any other way (not a great design).
I am just using two sticks at the moment and so far no crashes. I'll do more tests but thought Id get your opinons.
Thanks!
