New Computer Desk!

Have a look at the ikea galant range - the thing I like most about the galant is the modular pieces you can buy to bolt on to increase your working space from the stock tables.

I amongst many others use a "Vika Linnmon" (previously "Vika Amon") paired with "Adils" legs.

Works out cheap as chips and plenty of IKEA's other units will fit nice and snug underneath :)

I've got the same. Decent desk, although not the sturdiest. I bought mainly because it was cheap, and thought there was a good chance I wouldn't be able to take it with me when I left my current house when I graduate next year, so didn't want to spend too much. - Some of the reason it's not very stable might be partly due to having 3x27" monitors attached to monitor arms bolted to the back of it...

Solid wooden kitchen worktop and legs (can get both from IKEA).

This! Then in a few years you won't be asking the same question after your chipboard one looks a mess. Simply lightly sand and re-oil it and a real wood desk looks brand new again. Works out much cheaper in the long run as it'll last forever.
