New computer for grandson

Need some help choosing either a complete new build or off the shelf computer. Budget is around £1000.00 to £1200.00. Going to be used for all the normal stuff, but must be able to game well. thanks for your help.
 
It's just the PC, I happy to build my self, games he plays ? fortnight, Destiny 2 Battlefield, I would guess it would be best to buy near the top end for future proofing.
 
Thanks for the reply's, the only thing I have my doubts on is the size micro atx, I've never built one, but that 's not a problem or owned one, how good are these small comps, mu own comp is full size Bequiet system which you can hardly hear, runs nice and cool, I would i mange that the small systems have to work harder to keep cool and looking at the motherboards they seem to loose some of the features found on larger systems. I've also looked into the gpu cards and cant see to much difference between the rx5700 the 2070, he has told me now that he will be using a dual monitor on it so that might make a difference in card choice, any thoughts ?
