1. Don't buy Dell.
2. Don't use Norton.
As much as even the cheapest Dell will be good enough for them, the performance to price ratio you're getting with Dell is totally useless, not to mention the fact that they're un-upgradeable and use cheap parts.
I'd just get AM3 x3 425 setup, cheap mobo, 50quid something, cpu is under 50quid, they get decent integrated GPU on the mobo, get 2gb of DDR3, cheap case, some 400W quality PSU and you're set for years. Even if after 4-5yrs they will decide to need more power ( or you'll want to re-use the parts for another build ) all you'll have to do is invest 40quid ( by tht time maybe even less ) in 6core, get more ram and you're set again.
