Hey just thought id post a thread with all the details of my new computer that im in the process of building, wanted to see what you all thought.....

I prefer the Athlon II X4, but if you're gaming then that chip is probably a slightly better bet. I'd choose the MSI 770-G45 over that board, or a Gigabyte one. The 3870x2 is an outdated card by several generations and so uses a lot more power for less performance - how much is it? Nothing wrong with the case, it's all personal preference. PSU is good. RAM is good (depending on the price). Hard drive i would switch to the Seagate 7200.12, but that's just me.
 
its costing me £50 from my brother (graphics card)
ram cost me £65 from a user on here
i have most of these here now so they will have to do
and yes it'll be used for gaming
 
oh yeah i will when i can afford it lol not easy when your on benefits, but i have a great dad that helps me a lot. i will get pics when i have everything, still waiting on the Ram and psu
 
It's not all about mega bucks machines. :)

The guys on here will help you with tech stuff and even point you in the right direction for the best quality deals.
