Hi there just built a new PC and experiancing some problems

I have a quadcore extreme qx6850

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 XMS2 Dominator ( 4 sticks)

2x Samsung SpinPoint F1 HD103UJ 1TB Hard Drive SATAII

XFX GTX260 XXX Edition 896MB DDR3

Coolermaster HAF 932 Full Tower Case

a Zallaman CPU cooler.

XFX nForce 780i SLI Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

Im running Windows Vista Sp1 64bit

Ok the problem is when ever i try and do any intensive stuff such as playing a game or something that uses a lot of memory .. the PC's mouse starts to freeze and then suddenly i get a random colour screen ...changes the colour all the time .

then i have to reset as the PC has totally Crashed. the Board them gives off a beep for a second and resets its self again ...

Any one else experiance this problem before ? If so what was it

thank you

a 750w jeantech thing , i had to buy it from pcworld lol !
very nice power supply unit though and wasnt cheap
the only reason i think its a heat problem as its when its under load

so either the GPU is overheating or i possibly didnt put enough thermal compound on the CPU maybe ?

had a poke around

turns out the Power supply fan wasnt turning on ! near enough burned me bloody fingers a £80 powersupply going wrong lol.. my £4 jobby lasted

thank you for your help.
