Good afternoon all. :)

i am looking to buy/build a new computer i was spec/d on here last year for a new one but had to divert the money into the house instead. anyway i am now looking again. i have looked at pre build so called extreme gaming systems costing in the region of 2,400. and my question is if i bought the bits themselves and built it would i build a similar or better system for the money or has the bigger boys got better buying power. if the answer is as i hope build myself could you fime people please spec me a machine for that sort of money.
thanks
keith :)

thanks. i have a monitor and keyboardon my system but think buying a better one dedicated for gamming would be better. i am not too fixed to the price but dont want to go massively above it.
thanks

Theres DELL or the Belinea 22".

If you want to involve a montor. Use the above spec and drop the Quad Core for an E6600 and add a Belinea 22" Widescreen to the price.

Should be a complete beast.

May see if i can afford to keep the Quad core :) need to grovel to the wife ;)
