My sister has asked me to price two identical computers for my nephews for after Christmas. They are 11 and 9 so they don't need top end components. They want it to play titanfall, fortnite and to learn scratch and use their graphics tablets with gimp.
Now for the difficult part, her budget is £600 per computer. Monitor and peripherals aren't needed.
They are young boys so like RGB.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could probably get a more than capable setup for £600 in the Used market, The problem is, if your sister wants two identical systems then it's finding all them parts... New stock is very limited and prices are sitting a little high in places so doesn't really help when you have a set budget like most people do have..

I'm probably gonna add a bit more to her budget and not tell her so it doesn't necessarily have to be £600 per system. I'll check out some listings on the auction site.

She was just scammed big time on e auction, the guy listed the pc as a fast gaming pc.

Specs are: i5-2400, GeForce gt710 gpu, 8gb ram, Windows 10, some weird hp motherboard, upside down dvd drive and a crappy case. £650. She bought 2 without speaking to me first and is now struggling to get a refund..

That's the problem with some of these Pc's on auction sites, They make it sound brilliant and 'Super-Fast' but then you read the specs and most of them have the GT710 and a very old Intel dual core CPU...

Exactly yeah. For someone like my sister that doesn't have a clue she sees fast gaming pc and rgb keyboard and the Photoshop of fortnite on the monitor and thinks this thing will be fine.

You've all been great to be fair. Helping me build my own pc which is running absolutely flawlessly even though I had to send 3 components back to another website (faulty cpu and mobo and now seagate HDD)
