Just ordered my new system, here's the spec -

Intel Core2 Duo E6600 CPU
Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
MSI 512Mb 7900GTO Graphics
2Gb Geil Ultra DDR2 PC6400 Dual Channel RAM
150Gb Western Digital Raptor X HDD
2x 500Gb Western Digital RE2 HDDs
620w Enermax Liberty Modular PSU
Chenbro Gaming Bomb 2 Case
2x Silverstone FM121 120mm Case Fans
Asetek Vapochill Micro Ultra Low Noise CPU Cooler

Not a massive gamer, mainly Football Manager, but do play other games every now and then.

Tried to get powerful and nearly silent.. we'll see when it all arrives (hopefully tomorrow :D).

EDIT - Forgot to add that I'll be running it through my existing pari of Dell 2405fpw monitors ;)

thanks vocch :)

Does that all look OK to everyone?

I only ask as I am yet to click the buy button on the PSU, HDDs, CPU cooler and case fans (waiting for a daily specials page to update first ;))

What made you pick Asetek Vapochill Micro....if your planning on a hight o/c think you'd be better off with a scythe ninga or something similar to it....don't know when the tuniq's will be back in but they are the dogs.

It all looks good apart from possibly the CPU cooler as highlighted by vocch, there may be better alternatives like the Scythe Ninja as suggested. I'm also not sure about the hard drives, a Seagate 7200.10 is not that much slower than a Raptor yet offers way more capacity and cheaper also.

Hmm.. May have to rethink the cooler then..

I went for the Vapochill based on some good reviews I've seen, but I take your point about overclocking..

What about the Giga-Byte G-Power Pro? I've read good things about that?

Gone for the Tuniq Tower in the end, although just hoping it'll fit in the case OK!
