Somewhat bored of my original Xbox, I thought I'd wander down to a high street store to see what I could see.

Pre owned Gamecube, with Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, Metroid Prime, P.N.03, and a Harry Potter controller for total of £60

Had to order a memory card elsewhere as they didn't have any preowned cards but could sell me a new GC / Wii memory card for £20!

Quite looking forward to playing this over the next few weeks! I used to have a GC before I traded it for my Xbox. Last time I owned the GC I almost completed Super Mario Sunshine, failed Pikmin 1, never played much of Pikmin 2 before trading my old GC so I think I'll try and pick these games up again sometime soon (as well as Res. evil 1)

Any other must play games for the GC?

Now a two console guy!

Based on the games you have there, I would say Resident Evil Zero springs to mind.

Other than that, my favourites were:

Eternal Darkness
Super Smash Bros

Not to sound harsh, but you picked the worst of the Resident Evil games there. All of those three are just straight ports of the Playstation versions. RE0, 1 and 4 were all GC-designed games, and are so much better as a result.

RE4, in particular, is fantasticness personified.

Blimey, is that what Gamecubes are going for? ;)

I've got one here, not turned on since I got the PS3.
Sack of games, including Res Evil Zero, Eternal Darkness, and I can't remember, a sack of them.

A few memory cards, three controllers (one wireless)

Maybe I should sell it.

V1N.

Hmmm PN03, loved that game, oooooozed class and she is hot hot hot!!!

I tried to get into PN03 the last time I had the GC. The disc is quite badly scratched, didn't boot, but now after putting it through a disc scratch fixer the GC boots the disc. Hopefully it'll work!

Havent played any RE series of games. Should be fun none the less on the cube.

PN03 didn't get that good of reviews, but I thought it was a stunning copy of MDK. The characters animation was rock solid, incredibly well done, some really nice background music and not too easy and not too hard.

Played it several times through because I enjoyed it that much.

PN03 seemed to fall victim to hype. I remember a lot was expected of it at the time, perhaps some marked it a little harshly because it didn't live up to their expectations.

It's quite funny how many Resi games came out for the Cube. They're all ace, of course. Considering the lack of them on the N64 barring 2 towards the end of its life, they must've went mad and got them all.
