New Contract Advise

I have been on Orange pretty much my whole life (or at least since my old 3210) and never really had a problem but its time i renewed my contract..

I currently havea HTC Hero and pay about £40 a month for a pretty lame bundle. What im looking for is a:

Android HTC Phone (1ghz CPU or better) Dont mind paying extra for this.
12 Month Contract! (This is vital as i dont want to get tied into 18 and 24months again)
400 mins ish and 1000 text plus 500mb net.

Anyone got any suggestions?

12 month contract will be hard to find. If you're looking for that specifically, it may be worth just buying the phone outright, then finding a 12 month contract that you prefer. This is the route I'm going to follow.

With the frequent releases of brilliant phones, I really don't want to be tied down for another 18 months.

It isn't hard, just go with TalkMobile.

If you're buying the phones outright yourself what difference does it make if the contract is 12, 24, 36 or however many months?

for me its the freedom to jump to another contract or supplier if i simply dont like there customer service or if i moved abroad etc and wanted the free to leave.

Contracts = Bad IMHO.
