New contract same network different supplier?

I'm currently on O2, kinda want to stay on O2, mobiles.co.uk do sim only contracts that O2 can't beat.

Does anyone know if I can change from O2 to O2 not through official O2 route, is it the same as usual just get pac code etc?

AFAIK you have to switch to a different mobile operator, can't use pac on the same one.

Yeah as above, generally need to get a PAYG from whoever needs lowest top up and do a quick switch-aroo.

Maybe worth having a quick chat with O2? Not sure what they are like for retention deals but can't hurt to ask, and at least you have the details of the alternative offer.

When I renewed my contract with Three, I found a better offer that wasn't on the Three site, but it was with Three. They honoured the same deal. O2 might do the same?

As mentioned above, you have to move number away from o2 onto a cheap pay as you go sim, wait 48 hours then move your number onto your new o2 sim/contract.

It's called a triangle port or something like that.
