At the minute im with T-Mobile and am using a HTC Desire S.

I will definitely be leaving T-Mobile, as the main places where I use data all seem to be weak signal areas, at the minute im paying 27 quid a month and really don't want to pay more than £30 per month.

I was seriously considering one of the nokia windows phones, the only apps I really use on my current phone are strava/endomondo, but I also use the built in google navigation thing an awful lot too.

So I suppose my questions are:

1)Are the nokia windows phones any good, and do they still have legs (they aren't going to be binned off anytime soon)

2) Are the same apps available for the windows OS as they are on android

3) Any good deals about and which phone should I be aiming for?

cheers

1. They are decent phones, well built and the new Nokia's (Win 8's) are doing alright and I would be surprised if they were binned etc

2. It depends on what apps you use the most, Many essential apps are available some are not so best to do research, The Windows marketplace is growing at a decent pace

3. For about £30 or under you could get the top end one's 920/820, Wait for the 925 to come out but I think that would start at about £35/m

Out of interest why do you want to move away from Android ?

Its not about moving away from android, its more about the fact that I thought I would be really into apps, games, watching TV on the go etc etc, in the end it turns out im really not.

I was even considering an iphone because they seem to "just work"

I don't really have a preference on OS, or even phone for that matter...im just really after something for less than £30 a month which will just work out of the box, minimum fuss and will run the few apps that I use such as endomondo, strava and satnav of sorts.
