My contract with Orange is up in November, it was originally a 24 month contract with a Samsung Galaxy S started in Nov 2010. Since then I've purchased a S2 and now an S3. I'm totally happy with my phone so I'm just looking for a contract.

My current contract is 'Dolphin 25 not Bberry , 24 months'

Which according to the website gives me;

300 Minutes
Unlimited Texts
500mb Data

About £25 a month (it's always a bit more due to 0845 numbers etc...)

I'm not keen to be tied down again for 24 months so would rather a rolling monthly contract or at most a 12 month contract.

500mb of data is fine for me and 1000 texts will do, I don't tend to talk much so anything about 150 minutes would be acceptable.

I'm not fussed about network but I'm impressed with Orange.

I've looked into GiffGaff which looks the cheapest but I'm not sure on the O2 network.

Anybody got any advice? If I go into an Orange shop am I likely to be able to negotiate my contract down to something much cheaper if I agree to a 12 month term?

For £10 (soon to be £12) a month you can't really go wrong. It's also a rolling contract (technically pay as you go) so there is definitely no harm in trying the O2 network. My contract ends in 4 days and I have a Giffgaff SIM here ready to go to see what it's like!

Personally waiting on the Lumia 920 and Voda aren't offering it so I had to leave unfortunately!

i think giffgaff is great. for 10 quid a month don't think it can be beaten.

Google o2 network coverage and see if you get a good signal in your area.

have you told orange tilt not are canceling, think you have to give 30 days notice
