New cooler and fan

hi guys

i have an athlon x3 450 cpu and the stock heatsink and fan

the fan sounds like a tornado whilst gaming lol

anyways i need a new heatsink and fan but i dont want a mahoosive one lol

and it has to be quiet ish

any suggestions?

Not sure of the differences though, the Rev.B appears to be bigger though.

I think the scythe products are mounted with push pins (same as the stock HS) so you wont have to remove the mobo

Guys 1 more thinbg before i buy

Will they cover the ram slots? meaning will i have to remove the ram so thaqt id only have 2 slots free?

I have all 4 slots with ram and dont want to buy something if id have to remove them.

Are they the only low profile coolers availible or is there something else?

It won't cover the ram slots no, unless u have really tall ram heatsinks but even then it looks to be ok.
