When installing mine I install the mount complete.. including the piece with screw in the middle. Then tightened the 4 mounts in the mother board. Them put the piece with screw in middle on the heatsink.

I should have done it like that as well ,Never mind though its done now.

Ive noticed though,Not sure if the same happens on all 3570Ks,But the temps on the cores suddenly jump up then back down again?

Core 1 & 2 runs about 5-6c hotter than the rest at idle?

according to core temp,My max temp on core 1 while just browsing the net is 44c which seems kind of hot don't you think?

The CPU spikes, does CPU load spike at same time? My guess is it does.

It does yeah,Very wierd.

It runs quite cool idle,But then suddenly jumps to like 40C

Nothing wrong with that. Load it with ibt or LinX to see what your temps are under load.

I assume your ambient temp is quite cool?
What speed are your fans running?
My CPU idles at 37-41c because my fans idle down to 650rpm.
