Hi All,

I have an MSI Z790-P WIFI mobo with Intel i5 13600KF CPU, RTX 3080 GPU inside a Cooler Master H500 RGB case along with a Corsair H100i RGB water cooler. I'm looking for recommendations to improve the cooling efficiency please. Not bothered if it's water or air but must fit inside the case.

Can anyone help?

Cheers
Daz

Hi. Not causing a major issue but with cinebench running after a minute or so, getting high 80's on a few cores. The H100i is also 4 years old so would prefer to replace before it breaks down.

Normal usage is fine and not getting any issues that I know about in terms of freezes / blue screens, etc. so although the upgrade isn't technically needed right now, I'm just looking forward.

It doesn't make sense to buy parts based on Cinebench, unless you're doing heavy/intensive workloads that max out the CPU. If you're not, a peerless assassin/phantom spirit is all you need.

The h100i has a 5 year warranty, so far as I know, so I wouldn't expect it to be a problem just yet. You might be better off waiting until you upgrade the platform or to bartlett lake and then choose a CPU cooler appropriate to that new CPU.

Never had an issue with my 13600k running with my Noctua D15 - always been a solid cooler and i removed my watercooling loop to return back to air cooling.
