New cooler

Hi, I'm on the market for a new cooler my current one is a AVC Napoleon which came with my PC, but doesn't seem to great at cooling my E6850 at idle it is running 50c and full load goes up to 69c using coretemp.

I was looking at a Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-000-TQ&tool=3 or I could get hold of a OCZ Vanquisher for £20 secondhand what do you suggest I do?

Go for the Sunbeam.

Idle Q6600 (3.2Ghz, 1.450v) with fan at 1500rpm, Antec 300 with 5xcase fans on low. If you used Speedstep, had a 45nm CPU and had the fan at 2000rpm, this could be even lower!

Wow, yeah show us some load. Also, what's your room temp. I can get those sort of temps with my Noctua if the side of my case is off, and the case itself on a window sill... lol
