I meant it doesn't have the Dual-Path Heat Xchange (DHX) technology, so that's the only difference.

Ah, I missed 'the' in my previous post :o

If they are older dominators then they are micron d9s ....even the best 2x2gb DDR2 kits you can buy can't even hold a candle to the way old D9GMH/D8GKX chips clocked....

But if you are just running them around stock or 1100ish then no, there's no difference.

Used to have 4gb (4x1) of team extreme that was D9GMH, sold them and replaced with 2x2gb of ocz reaper, didnt even realise they were great clocking kit's:o

you faiL! I want a set of d9s :(

I have OCZ Flex 9200, some of the best 2x2gb you can buy...and it's poo compared to my old ballistix 5300 or OCZ sli

Must be over a year or so since i sold em, replaced with reaper 6400, which has subsequently been replaced with reaper 8500.

This kit will not be D9s as the PSC ICs to make 2GB kits are much faster than the 128mb Micron ICs. This is a good kit even though it only has heat spreaders and not "the" heat spreaders. Most likely PSC ICs like 99.999% of all 4GB 8500 kits these days.

Man this special offer price for this 1066 RAM makes me regret buying 8GB worth of the 800Mhz version a few months back. I could always just re-sell it and go for this one, but meh :(. Damn you OcUK :p.

Aye, used to have some Crucial 10th Anniversary stuff, 667mhz, that clocked to 1100mhz on stock volts. Considering it was only £20 more than 2GB of boring GeIL stuff at the time, it was bargaintastic!! :D

Just ordered some, sold my 4x1GB Dominator for a bargaintastic £30 to a friend. Mr Q6600 will be going back to 3.5GHz when this arrives.
